    Abstract : Field trials were conducted at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture in Dotnuva on a light loamy soddy-gleyic soil in 1993-97. Spring oilseed rape (Brassica napus) cv. Star was grown to investigate the effect of nitrogen fertilizer rates and timing, stand population density, thousand seed weight and pod location on the seed protein and fat content and fatty acid composition.
