By testing a decoction of Hippophae rhamnoides using egg hatch assay (EHA) a hatching a percentage of 98.59% at the maximum concentration (50%), the minimum being recorded paradoxically, at the minimum concentration of 2.44% were highlighted. On the other hand larva development assay (LDA), showed a decrease in the percentage of larval development with a minimum of 1.59% at a concentration of 12.50% and a maximum of 33.33% at concentration of 50%, highlighting that the extent of the duration of contact between exogenous forms of the parasite and the active decoction compounds resulted in an increase in the effectiveness of pharmaceutical preparation. In case of Juglans nigra decoction, the lethal concentration 100 test EHA (CL100) was -14.7135%. LDA revealed the inhibitory effect on the 3rd stage larval development, regardless of the used dilution, no stage 3 larva were obtained after 12 days of incubation. In case of Pimpinella anisium decoction, EHA Y test parameter values were negative, with a minimum of -245.32, which resulted in a negative trend in the prediction curve, and the LDA Y parameter values varied between -240.70 and 25.30, with a CL100% of -13.3495. Testing anthelmintic decoctions by EHA and LDA resulted in obtaining lethal concentrations 50, 90 and 100 negative, which reveals the possibility of using anthelmintic decoction in treatment equine strongylidosis.
