Imogen Farrant

Imogen Farrant is an animal health and welfare writer with a background in animal science and a particular interest in companion animal welfare. Her work focuses on translating veterinary and animal-welfare research into clear, accessible information for pet owners and other non-specialist audiences.

At CAB Direct, Imogen covers companion animal health, preventive care, nutrition and welfare. Her articles explain what veterinary and welfare studies actually tested, while keeping general information clearly separate from advice about an individual animal, which should be provided by a veterinary professional.

Each article carries her name and stated role. Claims and figures from veterinary and welfare research are checked against traceable sources, with relevant data accompanied by its source and date. Any corrections or updates are dated and remain visible in the article.
